The Cleveland Cavaliers have secured forward Isaac Okoro with a three-year, $38 million contract, according to a report from ESPN citing Okoro’s agents.
The 23-year-old, who was the fifth overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, has posted averages of 8.5 points and 2.9 rebounds across 279 games (216 starts) during his four seasons with the team. Last season, the Atlanta native, standing at 6-foot-5, averaged 9.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 69 games (42 starts).
Okoro’s signing follows a busy offseason for the Cavaliers, highlighted by major contract extensions for Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen, along with the addition of new head coach Kenny Atkinson from the Golden State Warriors.
