Club Meets West Brom Star Representatives, Gets Details

Turkish giants Besiktas have met with the representatives of one of West Brom’s players as they look to gather information ahead of a possible swoop.

Earlier this summer, the Istanbul giants gave former Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst the position of coach, and they are working to assemble a strong team for him. Besiktas wants to strengthen their midfield, and they have targeted West Brom as a potential solution. The Black Eagles have taken notice of Okay Yokuslu, a midfielder for the Turkey national team, and have moved quickly to acquire him. The West Brom midfielder’s representatives have met with Besiktas, as reported by the Turkish publication Sports Digitale.

Prior to making a move, the Turkish side inquired about the player and gathered data. Yokuslu, who has one more year left on his contract with West Brom, was a vital member of the Baggies’ squad the previous season, recording 48 appearances in all competitions.

He has big experienced of the Turkish Super Lig, having made over 150 appearances in the division and he appeals to Besiktas. Yokuslu is currently in action with Turkey at Euro 2024.
