According to DaveOCKOP, Rangers are interested in loaning Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark for the 2024–2025 campaign.

Rangers is reportedly one of the teams interested in signing Clark for the upcoming season, according to a claim the Liverpool insider posted on his website on July 6.

It is believed that in order to sign him, the Gers will have to contend with teams like RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, and Norwich.

Last season, Clark played in 14 games for Liverpool, including the Carabao Cup final in February against Chelsea.

Philippe Clement wants to give the Rangers team more potential.

The foundation of Philippe Clement’s transfer strategy is the acquisition of young, highly skilled players.

It is still a wise decision for the team to acquire Clark, even though it is extremely doubtful that a deal would include a future buy provision.

At Liverpool last season, the 19-year-old acquired experience in both the Premier League and Europe. He also scored his first goal and provided an assist against Sparta Prague in the Europa League.

He might show to be a valuable midfield substitute for Clement, supporting the more experienced Kenny McLean should he decide to join (Rangers Review, 6 July).

This summer, Clement is going through a significant squad revamp in an effort to assemble a team that can compete both now and in the future.

They may play either LOSC Lille, Clark rivals RB Salzburg, or Slavia Prague in the Champions League qualifying round (Glasgow World, 27 May).

The latter of which, according to Sofascore, finished two points ahead of their adversaries from Prague, against whom Clark had an 8.6 match rating.

Clark would give the Rangers’ rebuilt team an experienced head on youthful shoulders.
