While he searches for a new team, a former Premier League champion is practicing with non-league Aldershot Town.
Asmir Begovic played for Everton, Stoke, Portsmouth, and Chelsea in addition to winning a Premier League winners medal with the team in the 2016–17 campaign.
After his deal with the Queens Park Rangers terminated in the summer of last year, he is currently a free agent.
The 37-year-old goalkeeper was pictured on Wednesday during training with Aldershot Town, sharing pictures of him dressed in team kit.
The team shared an image of Asmir Begovic conversing to goalkeeper Jordi van Stappershoef along with the caption, “one of England’s finest goalkeeping imports having a chat with Asmir Begovic,” complete with a wink emoji.

Begovic made 63 appearances for Bosnia and Herzegovina, helping them reach the 2014 World Cup and playing all three matches in Brazil.
His presence at Aldershot is reportedly down to a close relationship with the club’s goalkeeping coach David Smalley.
Begovic was Chelsea’s second choice keeper during their triumphant 2016-17 campaign
Smalley was the the head coach at Begovic’s goalkeeper academy.
Begovic played in more than 250 matches in the top flight with the majority of those at Stoke, where he even scored a memorable goal from his own half.
