‘Most likely’ deal identified if Bristol Rovers bring in striker

Bristol Rovers 0-2 Reading recap: Poor display sees Gas ...

Bristol Rovers secured a valuable 0-0 draw away at Steve Evans’ Rotherham United on Saturday in League One.

This result builds on their strong start to the season, having won their opening game. However, they have only scored once in their three matches across all competitions so far.

The club is considering bringing in another striker before the transfer window closes, though it’s unlikely this would be a permanent signing.

It’s more probable that they will opt for a young striker on loan.

While it’s unclear who might be targeted, the transfer window is closing soon.

Next up for Bristol Rovers is an EFL Trophy match against Tottenham Hotspur’s Under-21s.
