Simon Jordan has criticised the Rangers hierarchy for the ownership model live on talkSPORT.

John Bennett has come under fire in recent weeks and months for his influence on the Gers’ decline in his role as chairman since April 2023.

Speaking on talkSPORT on August 20 at 12:27 p.m., former chairman of Crystal Palace Jordan has now criticized the board structure at Ibrox. “When I met the Rangers guys, I was not very impressed with their caliber,” he stated. “I talked to them about a variety of ownership model topics, and I didn’t leave feeling as though these folks were really forward-thinking or ambitious.

Rangers board slammed live on talkSPORT

Rangers supporters will not be shocked to learn that the individuals in charge of their football team are being questioned about their views.

Since Giovanni van Bronckhorst departed the team to play in the Scottish Premiership and on the European stage, the team has essentially regressed.

Since Steven Gerrard took over as manager, the team’s league form has declined and their chances of winning a title have decreased. The club has been a shambles at the board level, even though players like Michael Beale and Philippe Clement must shoulder some of the blame.

This includes anything from the club’s financial mismanagement to basic problems like not having a stadium to play in.

Many fans have lost patience with Bennett and Co. because of the Ibrox situation, which exposes yet another degree of poor leadership at the highest levels.

If the likes of Jordan are calling it out from afar, it won’t be long before supporters reach the end of their patience.
