UPDATE: Slovan Bratislava boss warns Celtic: “We know what to expect.”

Slovan Bratislava manager Vladimir Weiss has warned Celtic that his team will not adopt a defensive approach, as they are well-prepared for the challenge.

Celtic have enjoyed a strong start to their Scottish Premiership season, securing all 15 points from their first five games.

They will next face Slovak Super Liga side Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League at Celtic Park on Tuesday evening.

Slovakian coach Weiss has stated that his team is well-prepared for their Champions League match against Celtic and is fully aware of what to expect from Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Weiss emphasized that his team won’t be focusing solely on defending against Celtic in their upcoming clash.

“We have thoroughly analyzed Celtic and understand what to expect,” Weiss said at a press conference. “We know it will be a challenging game with a lot of work required off the ball. We will decide on our approach accordingly.

“We won’t be solely focused on defending against Celtic, as that would likely be quite challenging.”

Rodgers’ team aims to start their campaign with a win and hopes to advance to the later stages of the competition.
