Following the departure of Michael Olise, Crystal Palace is experiencing a noticeable void in creativity on the right side of their attack.
While Olise is now showcasing his talents and scoring goals in the Champions League with Bayern Munich, his absence is felt deeply at Selhurst Park.
Ismaila Sarr and Daichi Kamada were brought in with the expectation of filling Olise’s shoes, but so far neither player has made a significant impact. Eddie Nketiah has also been deployed in that position, yet he is primarily a striker and not suited for a winger role.
This struggle has been evident in the first six matches of the season, with Crystal Palace finding it challenging to find their rhythm. The narrow victory over QPR on Tuesday highlighted their ongoing difficulties, as the club continues to seek its first league win.
