Now that Steve Sarkisian is in charge, it seems like quarterback play won’t be a problem ever again. The once-dreadful quarterback position is now a gold mine as the Texas football program is thriving, ranking first in college football and having the best chances to win the championship, according to ESPN’s FPI. Quinn Ewers, a predicted first-round choice who has missed a few games due to injury but seems to be headed for a career year, is leading the push. Arch Manning, another blue-chipper, had the opportunity to shine during those two games when he was out, and he took advantage of it. The nephew of Eli and Peyton Manning started creating Heisman buzz because of his excellent play. Sarkisian has demonstrated his ability to bring in and nurture the finest players, and he has more talent on the horizon.
