Andrew Mackie List Management Update
Following the end of the trade period, Andrew Mackie, general manager of football, provides us with an update on list management. Pepperstone made the presentation. Andrew Mackie, general manager of football at Geelong, gave an update on the club’s plans for the upcoming month, stating that the Cats might have to rearrange picks if needed. “Our recruiters do a power of work and it is peak season for them now, the guys are covering off a lot of interviews,” Mackie stated to Cats Media. We are fortunate to have an excellent team who oversees it for us, so we eagerly await the information and the location of the selections. “We will examine a variety of approaches because there are opportunities for us to choose trade as well. We are open to what that looks like, although it is possible that we will transfer some future picks into this year. “That will be guided by Stephen Wells and his team, seeing the draft board forming and we will work through what that looks like over the next month.”Draft Memories | Tom Hawkins
