According to the current NFL MVP, there was never any question that Lamar Jackson would play on Sunday when the Baltimore Ravens meet the Denver Broncos.

The quarterback is battling a back and knee problem, according to the Ravens’ injury report, which was made public on Wednesday. He hasn’t practiced for the last two days as a result.

Jackson maintained that he was only giving his body time to heal when questioned if being hurt during their 29–24 loss to the Cleveland Browns was the reason he sat out.

“I’m just trying to get my body right because we have a lot of games in the next couple [of] weeks,” Jackson stated during a press conference. “Retain it fresh.”

Jackson responded to a question from another reporter about if his absence affected any plans or advancements. “No, absolutely not.”To strengthen their wide receiving corps for Lamar Jackson, the Baltimore Ravens trade for a top wide receiver.

Jackson’s status for Sunday was further confirmed when ESPN’s Adam Schefter announced later on Friday that he had been removed from the injured list.

After losing their first two games of the season, the Ravens won five in a row before losing to Cleveland.

With a 5-3 record, Baltimore trails the Steelers for second place in the AFC North. The Browns and Bengals, meanwhile, are in third and fourth place, respectively.

Jackson has completed 158 of 236 throws for 2,099 yards so far this season, demonstrating his efficiency. For 17 in eight games, he has also thrown at least one touchdown every game.

In addition, he has been sacked 12 times and only thrown two interceptions.

However, the Broncos, who are ranked second in the AFC West, are also 53. Denver is coming off of huge victories over Carolina and New Orleans going into Sunday’s match.
