Reflecting on his goals, Jamieson shared with Raith TV: “As a team, our performances have been strong lately, even if the results didn’t always show it. Tonight, we finally got both.”
Describing his first goal, he said, “Dylan Easton had a great shot that the keeper couldn’t hold, and I was in the right place to finish.” For his second, he credited the build-up play, saying, “It was a nice move down the left, with Stevo (Lewis Stevenson) crossing it perfectly for me to tap in.”
Jamieson missed a later chance for a hat-trick, admitting, “I hesitated between shooting first-time or taking a touch. I chose the touch, and it didn’t work out.”
Jamieson expressed how much he’s enjoying his loan spell, saying, “The St Mirren lads ask how I’m doing, and I’m loving it here. Playing regularly is what every footballer wants, and I’m grateful to be contributing.” He also sees each day as an opportunity to improve, adding, “The Ayr game set a standard we need to uphold moving forward.”
