After losing 1-0 to Southampton on May 26, the Whites will play in the Championship for another year. As a result of their reduced parachute payments, they will need to “cut costs.”

And according to a news organisation that posted an article on their website on May 27, the Toffees think they can capitalise on it by having Harrison return to Goodison Park on loan rather than signing him long-term.

Everton needs to be astute because they have their own money problems.

Because of his success from the previous season, Sean Dyche has gained the respect of the Goodison Park players, board, and supporters. As a result, he needs support during the transfer window.

To make sure they don’t receive yet another point deduction in the upcoming campaign, he almost certainly will have to let go of one or more important players given the club’s financial predicament.

They do, however, have the financial resources to bolster the team, and it may be quite wise for them to take advantage of circumstances at other teams.
