The best football environment that Bayer Leverkusen player Jonas Hofmann has ever experienced is at Celtic Park. The 31-year-old played at Paradise in the UCL during Brendan Rodgers’ first stint, but he completed a Double under Xabi Alonso this season.
Hofmann told the German football account Fiago that the energy at Celtic Park was incredible. “Obviously, Glasgow’s Celtic supporters. We were playing Champions League matches there with (Borussia) Monchengladbach. “It was an amazing atmosphere.” I could only make out the guys’ faces, and their uncontrollably loud shouting.
