Mark Robins is preparing Coventry City for the 2024/25 season, aiming to build on their recent achievements, including reaching the FA Cup semi-final and finishing ninth in the Championship. Previously, they had made it to the play-off final.

The upcoming season promises significant changes, notably with at least 24 Coventry league matches set to be televised live, thanks to a new agreement with Sky Sports. The broadcasting schedule will see games played on various days and times, including Friday evenings, and Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes.

The season will span from August 10 to May 3, comprising 46 rounds of league matches across 33 weekends, nine mid-weeks, and four Bank Holidays in the Championship. The League Cup and Football League Trophy will maintain their current formats, with the Carabao Cup starting in mid-August. Play-off finals are scheduled for the 2025 May Bank Holiday weekend.

The fixture list for the new season will be announced live on CoventryLive on Wednesday, June 26 at 9am. Television selections for matches up to the end of September will be finalized by July 1, ensuring early notification for fans and clubs.

The summer transfer window opened on June 14 and will close on August 30, while the winter transfer window for 2025 will run from January 1 to February 3.
