Fiji will field its strongest eleven for the match against Samoa in the OFC Men’s Nations Cup tonight in Suva.
Head coach Rob Sherman says the Digicel Bula Boys will not take the Samoans lightly
After the big 5-1 win over Papua New Guinea last Sunday, Sherman reiterates that it’s important for them to showcase the same performance tonight.
They’ve been monitoring Samoa, he continues, and they are aware of the dangers the visitors present. “We are in excellent spirits, and since there is just a two-day window between games, recovery is obviously very important and a key factor. As such, we are very attentive and cautious about that. Nothing will be left on the training field; everything will be left on the playing field. So Noel, the physiotherapist, does a very good job with that management. Sherman adds that they are eager for victory and are prepared for whatever the Samoans have in store. Tonight at 7 p.m., the two sides will square off at Suva’s HFC Bank Stadium. On Mirchi FM, you may hear the live commentary.
