Rob Edwards | “To get us moving again, I feel really motivated.”

Rob Edwards, the manager of Luton Town, is eager to start the 2024–25 Championship season now that his new four-year contract was officially announced on Wednesday.

The manager gave some thought to his time at Kenilworth Road thus far and discussed his goals for our forthcoming second-tier season. With his current contract with us through 2028, the 41-year-old expressed his satisfaction with us. “We’ve had so much fun; it’s been the best eighteen months of my professional career.” It’s good that despite the ups and, let’s face it, downs, I feel incredibly driven and eager to extend our stay.

It was always certain, but now that we’ve all got a taste of it, it’s wonderful that we can all agree on where we want to go. I’m incredibly motivated to get us back on track. “What I said after the West Ham game is still very raw, even though it doesn’t seem like that much time ago. The fans spoke for us after the game, and ever since, all I could think of was, ‘Well, we have to repay that.'”

We anticipate a really challenging situation. We are all aware of how challenging the Championship is, and this year will undoubtedly be extremely challenging. but also one that’s quite thrilling. I’m ecstatic.
