A new source claims that Everton is apparently nearing a “total agreement” to sign an offensive sensation who has previously been praised for his remarkable exploits in England.
News about Everton transfers
In order to avoid facing relegation from the Premier League, Sean Dyche’s team will be looking for a much better season the following year. Even without the point deductions, new acquisitions will be necessary for that to occur, and several players are now being supported to join the team.
Yankuba Minteh of Newcastle United has been frequently linked to Everton recently. The Magpies appear ready to let go of the 19-year-old, who spent the 2023–24 season on loan at Feyenoord, though it’s believed Lyon is attempting to sabotage the move.
Between now until the end of the summer transfer window, the Marseille star Iliman Ndiaye has also drawn attention from the Blues. The seven-cap Senegalese international is seen to be able to provide additional firepower and a threat to goals in general.
Jarrad Branthwaite might leave Everton this summer, therefore it will be necessary to find a top-tier successor. Victor Lindelof of Manchester United has been favoured to transfer there, possibly going in the other direction from the England international.
Close to “total agreement” with a “unplayable” ace is Everton.
A “total agreement” is almost finalised for Marseille attacker Ndiaye, according to a recent update from Foot Mercato [via Sport Witness], with a summer transfer to Goodison Park imminent.
After an unsuccessful first attempt to sign the winger, a fresh offer has already been made, and it is more likely than not that the Blues will add him soon.
Ndiaye is a really gifted player who, at 24, still has a lot of growth ahead of him. He is the kind of player that Goodison Park supporters could get attached to. The Senegalese player might give the Merseysiders some unpredictability and magic in wide areas. The Blues haven’t exactly been the most attack-minded squad under Dyche, scoring 40 goals in their past 38 Premier League games.
The £32,000 weeklyNdiaye had a successful stint with Sheffield United earlier in his career, contributing 36 goals (22 goals and 14 assists) in 88 games for the Blades. Despite his somewhat unpredictable play, Billy Sharp praised his former teammate, saying, “Iliman, he’s a breath of fresh air.”
“He is the only one who consistently does well on their own. His consistency has been crucial because, in my opinion, he was a little bit erratic the previous season. He was unplayable one week and not quite up to par the next, but so far this season, he has given eights and nines out of ten.”
Although this suggests that Ndiaye might occasionally be annoying, his total skill set surpasses that drawback, and as his game should only become better with age, Everton may be able to capitalise on his prime years.
