Ahead of tomorrow’s winding up petition in the High Court, STEWARTS Law has revealed that they have struck a deal with Southend United.
Wednesday marks Blues’ return to court because of winding up petitions that Stewarts and an ex-sponsor filed.
However, Stewarts have issued a statement today stating that the dispute has now been resolved on their end.
“Stewarts confirms that we have reached a settlement with Southend United regarding our outstanding legal fees,” the statement read.
“At tomorrow’s hearing, we will thus be requesting that the court reject our petition.”
Ahead of the hearing on Wednesday, the club and the former sponsor are still in communication.
