Six International Transfer Clearances (ITCs) were granted to the Fiji Football Association during the transfer window, which ended yesterday. Fiji FA Chief Executive Mohammed Yusuf said in an interview with FBC Sports that the organization did not receive many transfer requests from local players wishing to relocate to different regions. For futsal, though, things were different. Because of our policies and procedures, we did not receive many applications this transfer window, but futsal received a large number. We will thus review everything and be in a position to promptly announce the ones that have been verified.
The CEO also stated that two applications have been sent to the disciplinary committee because of some issues that have been identified and need to be fixed. All verified transfers will be published by Friday, Yusuf continued.
