Adam Idah made his second debut for Celtic on Sunday, coming on as a second-half substitute in the club’s 3-1 victory over Hibernian.
Celtic worked throughout the summer transfer window to finalize the signing of Idah from Norwich City. The Irish striker had made a strong impression during his loan spell in the latter half of last season, playing a key role in helping the Scottish champions secure the league title.
When Idah stepped onto the pitch for his return, he was greeted with a rapturous reception from the Celtic supporters, who were clearly delighted to see him back in the Hoops.

The match saw Celtic advance to the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup, with two goals from Daizen Maeda and another from Nikolas Kuhn. Hibernian struggled to contain Celtic’s attack, and although they managed to score to make it 2-1 in the first half, the outcome was never in doubt. Celtic will now face Falkirk at home in the next round as they continue their pursuit of domestic silverware.
