Ally McCoist has backed Rangers to win the Scottish Cup Final – IF they rectify their mistakes against Celtic.
Gers lost three and drew one of their four Old Firm league matches as their bitter rivals clinched yet another title. The Ibrox side have given Celtic a two-goal advantage in each of their three games under Philippe Clement, with the Light Blues also being dealt two red cards in their meetings at Parkhead.
McCoist stressed the importance of Rangers keeping their discipline against the champions and not allowing Brendan Rodgers’ side to storm into an early lead. And if his former club can do that, McCoist believes the Scottish Cup trophy could be decked out in blue, white and red ribbons come Saturday night.
