The annual Play on the Pitch football event, which gives football club sponsors the chance to play on the pitch at the County Ground during the season, was held by Swindon Town Football Club on Friday.
With four teams selected from 80 club sponsors and six games in a mini tournament, the event was a flurry of activity all around the stadium.
In addition to having players on the pitch, we also had guest managers David Coe of Coe Capital, Clint Ricketts of Imagine Cruising, and Rich Stone of Hoth Kitchen to oppose James Watts.
After two victories and one draw, the Swindon Town Football Club Commercial Team emerged victorious in the competition.
James Watts, Chief Commercial Officer of Swindon Town, made the following statement: “This annual event is turning into a fantastic networking opportunity for the club, where all of our sponsors can network with one another.”
As we continue to establish new commercial relationships for the football team, we always want to expand the event by adding more teams.”
