Lineups, How To Watch Game 2 Between the Red Sox and Blue Jays - Athlon Sports

Boston swept Toronto last week

The Red Sox-Pirates Weekend Series will include a match between top prospects.

Here are six of the best young players that the Red Sox will see in Pittsburgh when they play the Pirates.
On Monday, the Boston Red Sox will begin a three-game series at Fenway Park against the Toronto Blue Jays with Wilyer Abreu back in the starting lineup.

Toronto has dropped six straight games going into Monday night’s game, including back-to-back sweeps last week against the Red Sox and Cleveland Guardians. The Red Sox recently defeated the Cincinnati Reds in a series.

Abreu returned to action against the Reds after being recalled on Saturday. He will bat third in the opening game of the series after missing three weeks due to an ankle sprain.

The ball will be received by the hosts’ Tanner Houck, while the Blue Jays will counter with Chris Bassitt, another right-hander.
