BREAKING NEWS: A £30 million Everton player may be poised to make their inaugural start of 2024 against Nottingham Forest.

Given Branthwaite’s importance to Everton this season, it’s imperative not to risk him if he’s not fully fit. Consequently, Keane could be poised for a return to the starting lineup.

Keane is likely to be Dyche’s choice to replace Branthwaite. The former Burnley defender stepped in for Branthwaite in the match in West London and may be needed to reestablish his partnership with James Tarkowski.
