This marks Crawford’s second stint with the club, following a short-term loan during the second half of the 2022/23 season, where he made 12 appearances.

The 33-year-old midfielder brings a wealth of experience, having played 425 career matches, scoring over 50 goals, and providing more than 80 assists.

Throughout his career, Crawford made over 270 appearances for Hamilton Academical, helping the club secure promotion to the SPFL Premiership and spending four years in the Scottish top flight before moving to England.

In England, he played for Doncaster Rovers and Bolton Wanderers, where he achieved promotion with the latter. He also had a loan spell at Tranmere Rovers during the 2020-21 season before returning to Scotland with St Johnstone, initially on loan before making the move permanent in the 2021-22 season.

Crawford has been training with Greenock Morton’s squad since the start of pre-season to demonstrate his fitness and has now officially signed for his second spell at Cappielow Park. The club, supported by Dalrada Technology, wishes him every success during his time there.
