The referee was the VAR official at the centre of the controversy surrounding the champions’ 2-0 loss to Hearts at Tynecastle last month.
Brendan Rodgers labelled the performance of Beaton and onfield whistler Don Robertson as “incompetent” which led to the Hoops boss serving a one-match SFA suspension when the Parkhead men visited Livingston on Sunday.
With a one-match ban held over until the end of the campaign, the Irishman will return to the touchline in Govan for the midday encounter at the weekend.
Nick Walsh will be the man in front of the multi-screens at Clydesdale House in Glasgow while Willie Collum will be fourth official.
Beaton, of course, has figured largely in Celtic games this term and sent off Joe Hart for the first time in the keeper’s 20-year career in West Lothian in September.
He also instructed Robertson to review two incidents in the match against Hearts in Edinburgh that led to Yang Hyun-jun being red-carded and a ludicrous penalty-kick being awarded to the hosts for their opening goal in the 2-0 win over 10 men.
