Breaking News: Blackburn Rovers star sends shocking contract message when quizzed on future

Andi Weimann is adamant that he is enjoying his time at Blackburn Rovers and that he would be willing to stay for another season.

The Austrian forward has made an impression in his first two months at Ewood Park since agreeing to a one-year contract in the summer.

Weimann has demonstrated that he still has a lot to give at the Championship level at the age of 33. In addition, his knowledge of the division and expertise in the dressing room are valuable.

He stated that he would be eager to remain at Rovers after 2025 when asked about his future while serving for Austria on international duty.

He told 90 Minutes, “Staying is not dependent on promotion.”
“I have nine years of Championship experience. How the season unfolds will be determined. I am unable to predict what will occur next.

“I hope this pattern continues because I’ve participated in every game thus far. Whether or whether I remain at Blackburn will become evident at the end of the season. Naturally, I want to stay.

“Blackburn is a large, established team that has already taken home the Premier League title. I’ve always had the good fortune to perform for major venues. I don’t think Blackburn is all that different.

“My contract is for one year. This place is great. Naturally, the club will decide whether or not to extend my contract.
