Celtic Park will play host to a Legends’ match between the Hoops and Borussia Dortmund the day after the Scottish Cup final. Regardless of the result the day prior at Hampden, it will be a memorable day with supporters getting the opportunity to watch some of their old heroes in action.
The likes of Artur Boruc, Scott Brown, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Gary Hooper, Mikael Lustig, Charlie Mulgrew, and Emilio Izaguirre have already been confirmed to be playing for the Bhoys in the match, with Stiliyan Petrov the latest.
The club announced the return of the Bulgarian to Paradise on Wednesday afternoon:
Tickets are still widely available for the game on Celtic’s website, but perhaps some fans are waiting to see what the outcome of the season is before purchasing their briefs.
With four league games to go, Brendan Rodgers’ men are three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
They still have a Scottish Cup final to go as well in what promises to be a tension-packed end to a rollercoaster campaign.
