BREAKING NEWS: Change to Championship play-off semi-finals schedule announced

The game between whoever finishes fifth and fourth respectively had been set to take place on Monday, May 13 with an 8pm kick-off.

Now, however, it has been shifted to a 2.15pm kick-off on Sunday, May 12.

That decision has been taken in order to avoid the possibility of Midlands clubs Aston Villa (who host Liverpool on Mon, May 13) and West Brom Albion (who currently sit fifth in the Championship table) both playing at home on the same night.

Ipswich could finish anywhere between first and fourth heading into their final three games of the season. The current top four reads: Leicester P43 91pts, Leeds P44 90pts, Ipswich P43 89pts, Southampton P43 84pts.

Spots fifth and six are being contested between West Brom (P44 72pts), Norwich (P44 72pts), Hull (P43 66pts) and Coventry (P42 63pts).
