Since Vincent Kompany left Burnley, Craig Bellamy has been the team’s interim head coach.
Although Bellamy has assisted Kompany at Turf Moor for the last two seasons, she did not accompany the former captain of Belgium and Manchester City to Bayern Munich.
Burnley released a statement on Thursday saying, “We are actively working on our search for a permanent manager following the departure of Vincent Kompany.”
We are currently looking for a permanent manager in light of Vincent Kompany’s departure.
As an interim measure, the Club has appointed Craig Bellamy as the Acting Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach, with Mike Jackson providing support.
“In the interim, the team has appointed Craig Bellamy as the acting head coach and assistant head coach, with Mike Jackson providing support.
“We have total faith in Craig and Mike, and we think they are the ideal leaders of the team at this crucial juncture because of their wealth of experience and intimate knowledge of the club.
“In due course, we will provide additional updates regarding a permanent manager.”
