According to Aftonbladet, Rinne has agreed to a long-term contract with Derby County, reportedly lasting five and a half years. The official announcement of Rinne’s signing is expected in the coming weeks once all formalities are completed.
The Swedish media outlet also mentions that Derby County is now set to finalize the deal for Widell-Zetterström, which had been delayed in recent weeks.
Earlier today, we reported that the 26-year-old confirmed he traveled to England last week for a medical with the Rams. Widell-Zetterström has expressed that playing in England would be a dream come true for him.
Reports from Sweden suggest that the Championship side will pay £2m for Widell-Zetterström, with an additional £600k in potential add-ons.
