Hereford striker signs after refusing 'mind-blowing' offers | Hereford Times

Jason Cowley, a striker for HEREFORD, has decided to stay with the Bulls longer after turning down several “mind-blowing” cash offers.

The 28-year-old, who plays as the number nine, joined from Stourbridge at the beginning of the previous campaign and quickly became a fan favourite.

Even though he missed a significant portion of the previous season due to injury, he ended up scoring 12 goals from 29 starts to lead the team.

Paul Caddis, the manager of Hereford, commended the marksman for turning down several substantial cash offers to return to Edgar Street for the 2024–2025 season.

The Bulls manager stated on the team’s website, “I think everyone at the football club shares my enormous admiration for Jason.

“You want players like him on your team, not against you. Needless to say, Cowls knows how to score goals and puts in a lot of work for his teammates.

“I am aware that this signing demonstrates our intention to stay longer than merely participate in this season. Our goal in this challenging level is to leave our mark, and we now have a strike force that can truly help our football team.

“Jason Cowley has, in fact, received some incredible financial offers, but he has always told me that he wants to stay and play for a team that is constantly trying to get better in front of its own fans.

“Cowls should be commended greatly for prioritising his happiness and love of football over money.”
