BREAKING NEWS: John Textor told to ‘quickly’ sell Crystal Palace shares to ‘save’ Everton with Goodison takeover

Textor told to 'quickly' sell Palace shares to 'save' Everton

In order for Sam Matterface to “rescue” Everton through a buyout, he has instructed John Textor to “quickly” sell his interest in Crystal Palace.

The co-owner of Palace, Alan Nixon (2 June), has stated that he might be open to purchasing Farhad Moshiri’s majority interest at Goodison Park, now that 777 Partners’ acquisition attempt failed in May.

TalkSPORT broadcaster Matterface has pushed the American to expedite the sale of his interests at Selhurst Park in order to invest in the Toffees, as per Premier League regulations.

“I guess John Textor has to end up getting rid of his stake (in Crystal Palace) and get in there quickly to save the whole project,” he stated in a talkSPORT interview on Sunday, June 2, at 13:43.

“Keep them in the division next season and hopefully on the straight and narrow so that they can ultimately make progress.”

“Because they don’t want to enter administration, they don’t want the stadium finished, and as a result, things get worse and worse and the stadium becomes more of a white elephant.”

After 777 Partners’ offer failed, will John Textor become Everton’s new owner?

Eventually, everyone can now try to win the race to become the owner of Everton. Despite the fact that Farhad Moshiri will be the one to determine who gets the keys to Goodison, anything is possible given the collapse of 777.

Although Textor has been very clear about his position about a possible takeover, the co-owner of Palace will find it difficult to sell his shares at Selhurst Park since he must find a buyer before he can begin working on Merseyside.

Everton Farhad Moshiri

At Everton, Farhad Moshiri is still in charge.

Other possible investors may enter the takeover contest while that procedure is in jeopardy. It is acknowledged that there are and will likely continue to be a number of parties interested in purchasing Sean Dyche’s side.

Hopefully, whomever takes over as Goodison’s new owner will be able to heed Matterface’s counsel and assist the Blues in getting back on the right track. The supporters ought to be spared from this pandemonium, if nothing else.
