AC Milan, another Serie A team, is reportedly keeping an eye on Aina, who has previously been linked to Roma. AS Roma Live, an Italian website, claims that Aina is “popular” with both clubs due to his ability to play on either wing and for financial reasons.

Since joining Forest as a free agent in the summer of 2023, Aina, who can play att or right-back, has emerged as a vital member of the team. Twelve months later, the club invoked a one-year extension option on his contract, which was set to expire at the end of the current campaign.

According to the article, Roma is especially interested in players whose contracts expire in 2025, and Aina is “one of the first names” on their wish list for a January or summer transfer. Milan is “remaining vigilant” on the Nigerian international’s contract status in the meantime.
