After ten years at the club, the 28-year-old goalie left Scholars Ground last year to join the Bulls.
Pond, who helped Hereford place eleventh in the National League North, will now make a trip back to his former home field before the 2024–2025 campaign.
Manager of Chasetown Mark Swann discussed Pondy’s return home, saying: “We were eager to speak with him as soon as we found out he wouldn’t be remaining at Hereford.
“He stated unequivocally that we were his favourite team, and I’m glad we were able to get him back.”
“Not only is he a top custodian but he is also a big character within the dressing room.”
