BREAKING NEWS: Rangers radar on the move with loan deal agreed

After losing to Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League qualifying round, the manager looked upset, and his job got even harder when his team was eliminated and demoted to the Europa League.
The Rangers are in need of new players, but things are still the same as they try to cut loose players and high-paid non-contributors.
The passing of time will cause the Rangers to lose out on possible targets, such as Gustavo Puerta, the dominant player for Bayer Leverkusen, who appears to have decided on his future.

Rangers are not going to get Gustavo Puerta.

The Colombian youth international, who is rumored to be moving to Ibrox, has a bright future and was a regular in his team’s undefeated Bundesliga title victory.

With ties to Rangers, Brondby, and Anderlecht, reputable Belgian journalist Sacha Tovolieri reports that Glasgow doesn’t appear to be his next stop:
“Gustavo Puerta has decided not to join Anderlecht. The Colombian central midfielder is getting closer to signing a loan agreement with Brondby. informed the Danish club that this deal is now closed. Hold on and see.

According to other reports, a potential permanent agreement is also being discussed, with add-ons costing about £3–4 million, which wouldn’t exactly break the bank.
It was thought that after Nils Koppen sealed Oscar Cortes’ contract at a TransferRoom conference, Rangers’ familiarity with Puerta’s representatives would facilitate discussions.

Could Puerta’s error point to a different target in Latin America?
Tomas Sarmiento, Cortes’ agent, clarified why the winger might not be the last player to arrive from across the Atlantic and how more players from Latin America could join the Rangers:
Many individuals, I would say, are hesitant to bring Latin American players to the European market because they haven’t been proven at what you would consider to be the upper echelons of the game.
Through these portals, we are able to speak with those in positions of authority and discuss in greater depth any uncertainties they may have and how best to address them.

“TransferRoom gave us the ability to set up meetings, exchanges, and all of this.
Oscar Cortes will stay with the Rangers after a good agreement was reached. It’s a club that has done a great deal to help him grow and adjust to life in Europe.
“I believe he’s headed in the right direction, and hopefully, with all the support TransferRoom offered, we can build on this relationship and open up new markets.”
In addition to being linked to players worldwide, Rangers has signed a number of players from non-traditional markets.
Due to financial constraints, Koppen must be resourceful. Puerta’s loan would have allowed the team to get premier league experience and win titles without going over budget.

Sarmiento should be able to send one or more more players to the Rangers.
