BREAKING NEWS: Report: Joe Hart to receive Man City offer

Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart will hang up his gloves at the end of the season in an emotional moment for the player, his club, and fans.

The Englishman has given his all in green and white over the past three years, bringing real stability between the sticks at a time of transition.

He has only improved throughout his time in Glasgow, and suggestions that he is Celtic’s Player of the Season for the current campaign are a testament to this.

Although he has no plans to go into coaching and hasn’t taken any badges, according to the Daily Record, Hart will be offered a return to Manchester City this summer in a non-footballing capacity, potentially through an ambassadorial role.

Having made two shy of 350 appearances for City and winning five major trophies with the club, the 37-year-old is well respected at the Etihad.

While a return down South would likely disappoint Celtic supporters, it is understandable given the ‘keeper’s history with the current European champions.

When recently speaking to CeltsAreHere and other fan media, though, Hart did admit that he has let Brendan Rodgers and Celtic know that he is always available. Keeping him at the club in some capacity this summer would please many.
