Maika Sivo, the star winger for the Parramatta Eels, is set to leave the team and pursue an opportunity with the Leeds Rhinos in England’s Super League. This decision follows confirmation from Parramatta management, allowing Sivo to explore other options despite his contract with the Eels extending until 2027.
The move reunites him with former Eels coach Brad Arthur, now leading Leeds, marking Sivo as the second NRL player recently joining Arthur’s team in Leeds.
Sivo, who debuted with the Eels in 2019, has had a prolific career with the club, scoring 104 tries in 115 games, including 17 tries in just 12 matches this season. Currently, he is also representing the Fiji Bati in the Pacific Rugby League Bowl Championship, with his next game against the Cook Islands scheduled for this weekend
