Breaking News :Taylor Knibbs resigns, replaced by…..

Taylor Knibb stepped down from her spot on the U.S. cycling team for the road race at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday, with Kristen Faulkner set to take her place. Faulkner was already slated to compete with the American pursuit team in the velodrome. Knibb’s decision was not entirely unexpected, given that her focus is on the triathlon. As the two-time defending women’s Ironman 70.3 world champion, she has long intended to compete in that event at her second consecutive Summer Games. The 26-year-old from Washington, D.C., had notably won the U.S. time trial championship earlier this year, securing an automatic berth.
