Self-reflection will reveal that there were moments during the season when this would not have been conceivable after Celtics’ championship victory has settled.
Due to a terrible injury list and a poor summer transfer market, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers faced significant challenges from the moment he arrived.
Even while there is nothing you can do to prevent injuries, there are things you can do to improve a subpar hiring process.
When Rodgers couldn’t find a spot in the squad for any of the new signings this season, with the exception of Luis Palma, questions were raised regarding Celtic’s summer recruitment transaction.
Additionally, the fans were concerned that the Celtic manager might not have the support of the board when the January window opened and only two players were added.
That doesn’t appear to be the case, though.
Rodgers praises Michael Nicholson’s “assistance.”
This week, questions were posed to the Celtic manager on his intentions to enter the transfer window in the summer and the kind of support he will receive.
And the Celtics manager was very upfront about the support he receives from Michael Nicholson, the CEO of the Hoops, in remarks made before last night’s championship victory.
“As I said, every season has to be a learning season on and off the pitch, and I’ve gained nothing but support from Michael [Nicholson] and the people here,” Aaron Rodgers stated on Celtic YouTube.
“However, as we move forward, we must make sure that our football approach remains central to our goals.
“And as I mentioned, it’s about improving the calibre of the squad, not about numbers.”
