Celtic Announces Odsonne Edouard in a Brilliant Way

The club is in the final stages of preparing for the most anticipated Glasgow Derby of the season, which will take place in the SSE Hydro, while Brendan Rodgers and his team prepare for it.

Rangers visit Celtic on Saturday at noon, and by Sunday night, the hydro will be illuminated in green and white as the team honors its players from the past and present.

The ceremony is attended by a who’s who of former players and Celtic luminaries, none more so than Henrik Larsson, who will be receiving a special appreciation award.

In addition, Celtic announced today that French Eddy will, for the first time in a long time, be returning in front of the Hoops supporters.

The man who signed with Brendan Rodgers during the Irishman’s initial tenure will be present to give an award at the function.

Neil Lennon and Samaras will both be present to make the same announcement.

Edouard was a part of the amazing Celtic team during their four-year winning streak. His tenure with the team came to an end during the miserable COVID season, when Celtic’s supporters were barred out of the stadium, shattering the team’s heart and soul.

When Ange took charge, the fans started to get back into football, and he moved on to Crystal Palace. He will now be able to see his Glasgow-based Celtic supporters again.

Perhaps Rodgers can persuade him to stay! Come celebrate this unique Hoops event; tickets are still available for the evening. Tickets available here.
