Celtic Announces Pride for a Second Year in a Row

Celtic are gearing up to participate in the Glasgow 2024 Pride Parade on Saturday, July 20.

It will be Celtic’s second time stepping out for the city’s pride event.

Starting at Festival Park near the Glasgow Science Centre, the event is poised to draw crowds with the magnetic duo of GO Radio’s Crofty and Gina McKie hosting the festivities.

Celtic has always prided itself on being a “Club Open to All,” a sentiment that will be proudly shown on a banner as they march, they announced on the club’s website.

Supporters are urged to dress in bright colors, join the march, and bring rain gear for Glasgow’s erratic weather. Fans can purchase the pride collection from the club on their website, if they so choose. Comedian Susie McCabe participated in Celtic’s pride march the previous year. She stated in an interview with Celtic TV last year that Celtic’s involvement “meant the world” to her and that it’s crucial for the club to be visible at these marches since it contributes to efforts to eradicate bigotry.
