Buonanotte has been on the books at Brighton since joining from Argentine side Rosario Central in 2023 and he has been capped at international level by his country.
The 19-year-old attacker has been linked with a possible exit from the Seagulls this summer and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on him.
The Scottish champions though look as if they will have to focus their attention elsewhere however as Leicester are moving forcefully for Buonanotte.
Brighton are happy for him to leave on a loan deal and Leicester appear to be Buonanotte’s destination.
The loan would cover the whole of the upcoming season and Buonanotte could even be put through a medical by Leicester today.
Steve Cooper is an admirer of what Buonanotte can bring to the table and could soon be able to call upon him.
Celtic though will have to examine alternative options as Buonanotte is set to stay in the Premier League this summer.
