After Celtic’s hiring of Paul Tisdale as the new Head of Football Operations and a significant overhaul of the club’s recruitment department, Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson has spoken out. This move is a major step in Celtic’s continuing behind-the-scenes reorganisation, which has accelerated during Brendan Rodgers’ second stint as manager.
In his statement to Celticfc.com, Nicholson, who has been silent since Mark Lawwell left, said: “We are thrilled to appoint Paul as Head of Football Operations, and we are sure he will bring a new dimension to our work.” Paul is incredibly knowledgeable in the areas of talent development and identification, which are crucial to the club’s strategy from our Academy to our first team.
