CELTIC FANS ARE LOVING IT: BEARS TURN ON BEARS – S AS THE STADIUM FIASCO THREATENS TO DESTROY

Firstly, before I say anything, I’d like to wish Joe McHugh over on Videocelts a very happy birthday.

It was his article from yesterday that inspired me to write today’s.

On Friday the 21st last, I wrote an extensive article on the revelation asbestos may have been disturbed during the upgrade works at Ibrox.

This revelation came from an account called Empire on follow follow.

Empire lists himself as an employee on the popular Ibrox forum.

Joe has continued to follow follow (excuse the pun) Empire on X, and it would appear that his revelations have landed him in hot water with fellow bears.

But unlike most bears, Empire likes to tell the truth.

And as we all know, most bears can’t handle the truth.

In fact the truth and Ibrox have always had a very poor relationship.

Even as we speak, it’s highly unlikely the whole truth is being revealed to Ibrox fans regarding the current stadium fiasco.

They take anything their club throws at them.

They haven’t questioned the 10% increase in season ticket prices that they recently accepted.

Even though they are well aware that club shares are worth less than toilet paper, they nonetheless accept it whenever share offerings are announced.

Apparently, Empire has had enough.

It’s also obvious that he has no trouble speaking the truth about what’s happening at Ibrox right now.

Joe’s article from yesterday can be accessed by clicking on the supplied link to read his remarks on X.

A bear expressed doubt about his remarks, claiming he was repeating himself about the board.

which I find hilarious.

It’s amusing that Ibrox supporters are turning on someone who is genuinely speaking out against the dysfunctional behavior of the team’s board.

Not the board, though?

Currently, the bears are demonstrating that they are the most gullible people in the planet.

How much worse can things get, after all, before they take the board’s actions seriously?

They still haven’t found a place to perform while Ibrox improvements are put on indefinite hold.

Celtics supporters, meanwhile, are soaking everything in and enjoying it.

Ibrox gives us a lot of topics to discuss.

However, as I mentioned in the piece from yesterday, we should be more concerned about the fact that our board isn’t providing us with anything to discuss.

Hugh Keevins sparked the early awakenings of inflating the approaching season into something bigger than it actually is in his Sunday Mail story this morning with the following:

If Celtic wins four straight league titles, they will tie R*****s for the most trophies won by a club and surpass them in overall. This season is the biggest since Celtic’s attempt to win ten straight titles ended in chaos, which was partially caused by a string of poor acquisitions.

In my opinion, we weren’t going to have the greatest season since the 10IAR fiasco.

However, judging on Keevins’ comment, it seems the media will try.

Now, because this move applies more pressure to Ibrox than it does to us, it may interfere with our hands.Alan Harvey - SNS Group/SNS Group/Getty ImagesAlan Harvey Regardless of what the media claims, we are going to revamp their trophy count.

Numerical targets that make no sense should not be set.

Nonsensical targets are ones that we are aware do not exist.

If we were to set any goals, they would be quite real.

Even with all of the distractions at Ibrox, Celtic has not made any progress in the transfer market.

Yesterday, I discussed that in more depth.

We have to get that first transfer over the line so that Celtic supporters can unwind.

Once that occurs, I believe more will follow.

AND YES, YOU CAN SMIRK WHEN YOU SEE WHAT’S GOING ON OVER AT IBROX, BUT SAVE THE REAL LAUGHTER FOR WHEN WE BEAT THEM AT CELTIC PARK ON THE 31ST OF AUGUST.

They have started this season with a significant disadvantage.

Our board and club are responsible for making the most of that.

That was not what we did for the 10IAR season.

Even though Keevins et al. claim that current season is not as significant as that one, it would never be acceptable to make a similar error.

I mean, the Celtic board wouldn’t be that dumb?

Stranger things have happened, so I’d like to say no.

Close some deals, Celtic.

Then, that will allay any concerns among our supporters.

We won’t have another chance like this.
