A Celtic fan has been filmed brawling with police and airline staff after an Edinburgh flight landed in Turkey.Passengers were left screaming during the chaos as the Easyjet flight landed at Antalya Airport at 8.15pm on Saturday.
Shocking footage shows the yob aggressively punching the roof of the aircraft as horrified passengers watch on.The man, who was filmed in a Celtic strip, can then be seen trying to barge past airline crew as they attempt to hold him in his seat.He can be heard shouting: while pointing his finger at another passenger.The thug then flies from his seat and appears to punch a Turkish police officer and female airline employee as other passengers attempt to split the brawl up.The thug can be seen throwing punches at Turkish cops and female airline he falls to the ground, he goes on to throw a number of punches at somebody on the floor.A terrified female passenger can be seen screaming during the footage as she is caught up in the rammy.As the violence is brought to an end, a mother can be heard reassuring her shaken child: “It’s alright, it’s okay.”It comes after Celtic drew 3-3 with Aberdeen at Hampden Park.In February, the Record told how drunk yobs were hauled off a flight by Spanish cops after a brawl broke out between two brothers mid-air.Passengers told how they endured hours of chaos after a rammy erupted on the flight from Edinburgh to Tenerife.An Easyjet spokesperson said: “EasyJet can confirm that police attended a flight to Antalya on 20 April on arrival due to a passenger behaving disruptively on board.“EasyJet’s crew are trained to assess and evaluate all situations and to act quickly and appropriately to ensure that the safety of passengers is not compromised at any time. Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour.“The safety and wellbeing of all our customers and crew is always our highest priority.”
