The recruitment that Coventry City has done recently has been outstanding.

He is the kind of player that would draw a lot of attention at age 26, especially if he can demonstrate his value in the Championship two seasons in a succession, as Gyokeres did. He also has lots of time to develop.
In contrast, Ben Sheaf has drawn attention lately, with teams like Fulham and Ipswich Town rumored to be interested in signing him.
Sheaf has been a vital cog in central midfield in Hamer’s absence, but they aren’t under much pressure to trade him this summer because his contract doesn’t expire until the summer of 2026.
Nevertheless, if the player doesn’t sign a contract before next summer, things might be different.
