Drua seek season’s first victory away from home.

This weekend, in Dunedin, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on the Highlanders in their attempt to record their first away victory.

After losing their previous away games this season, coach Mick Byrne says it would be a historic event if they win on their final road trip of the regular season. According to Byrne, the players will enter the remaining two rounds of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific with a great deal of confidence after their 28-19 victory over the Queensland Reds over the weekend.

We carried well and scrummed good. We just need to have that mentality at the beginning of the game to come out and go after the game like we did, and we will be great. At moments this year, our defense was strong. The Fijian Drua will fly to Dunedin on Friday in preparation for their Sunday 2:05 pm matchup against the Highlanders.
