Unless there is a last-minute hiccup in Vincent Kompany’s potential transfer to Bayern Munich, Burnley will likely be searching for a new manager soon.
The Belgian is reportedly nearing completion of his transfer to the Allianz Arena. The discussions are advanced, and rumour has it that Alan Pace is negotiating remuneration.
After Kompany left the team two years ago, the Clarets will need to find a replacement to lead the team’s effort to win the Championship back on its first try.
Here, we examine a few feasible goals that might be taken into consideration:
1. Craig Bellamy
There have been conflicting reports over whether the Welshman will join Kompany in making the move to Munich to be a part of his coaching staff. If he stays behind, he could be a natural successor.
